November 2022
New York College of Podiatric Medicine (NYCPM) – At its November 14, 2022, meeting, the Council reviewed the extension for good cause submitted by the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. After due consideration, the Council determined there was good cause to grant the extension of time to allow the College to demonstrate compliance with the accreditation standard and requirement. Additionally, the Council rescinded the probation order as the reason for the probation order was no longer applicable due to the granting of the extension of time. The Council first identified the New York College of Podiatric Medicine as being in noncompliance with Standard 1 Requirement D, Ongoing Evaluation Process, in April 2021. Under the Council's rules of procedure, the College is permitted a period of time to come into compliance with accreditation standards. With the grant of the time extension, the College now has until April 2025 to come into compliance.
